Bay Bench was created because running a repair shop shouldn’t require juggling multiple subscriptions, disconnected software, and complicated systems that don’t understand how independent shops actually work.
Hi, I’m Stephine Hack.
I’m not a software executive. I’m a repair shop owner.
Every day I work alongside technicians, manage repairs, create estimates, answer customer questions, order parts, and keep a business moving.
Like many independent shop owners, I became frustrated with paying for multiple disconnected systems that never seemed to fit the way real shops actually operate.
Instead of waiting for someone else to build something better, I decided to build it myself.
That’s how Bay Bench began.
Bay Bench was never intended to become “just another shop management system.” The goal has always been much bigger.
Create one complete platform where independent repair shops can manage customers, vehicles, estimates, invoices, technicians, scheduling, inventory, reporting, diagnostics, AI assistance, and business intelligence — without jumping between multiple subscriptions.
Every feature is designed with one question in mind:
Would this actually make life easier inside a real repair shop?
If the answer is no, it doesn’t belong in Bay Bench.
Software should reduce work, not create more of it.
Everything is designed for independent repair shops, not dealership groups or corporate chains.
Every feature should solve a real problem before it earns a place inside Bay Bench.
The future of Bay Bench is much more than shop management.
Our long-term vision includes intelligent repair insights, community knowledge sharing, smarter labor guidance, AI-assisted diagnostics, business intelligence, and tools that help independent shops compete with organizations many times their size.
We believe small businesses deserve enterprise-level technology — without enterprise-level complexity.
The best software isn’t built by asking what features to add. It’s built by solving tomorrow’s problems before they become today’s frustrations.— Stephine Hack
